Bajaj Auto is one of the leading manufacturers of two wheelers in India. This two wheeler manufacturing giant has launched many premium segment two wheeler bikes in the market under its Pulsar range. Recently this Indian auto giant has launched a new bike model in the market called Bajaj Pulsar 200NS. Looking at the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS pictures, it can be said that it has very appealing looks, especially the kinds which would attract the young generation. According to the auto giant this is the next generation bike model from Bajaj. Bajaj Auto boasts that this vehicle has undergone all the test conditions, be it off road or on road, this bike has successfully passed all the tests. Now the only wait is if the performance on the streets also matches the performance that it displayed suring the tests.
Looking at the technical specifications of the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS, this new machine mounted with a new and improvised engine. There is some information, which reveals that Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is fitted with 199.5 cc engine with SOHC 4 valve Triple spark engine which is controlled by advanced control unit to give good performance. The engine produces 23.5 bhp at a rate of 9500 rpm and 18.3 Nm of torque at 8000 rpm. Bajaj boasts that this new machine is very fuel efficient and can give 58 KMPL. There is some information from a legitimate source which reveals that some components have been added inside the engine to enhance the performance of the engine. Bajaj Pulsar 200NS will set the road on fire with stunning looks and pick up. Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is fitted with new headlights that would emit brighter lights and thus help keeping the vision clear during the night. Bajaj Pulsar 200NS price in India is around Rs. 1,00,000.
On the other hand KTM is an Austrian company, which has recently launched their new bike KTM Duke 200 in Indian market. This Austrian company is well known for their off road bike segment. KTM in partnership with Bajaj auto has released their bike on Indian roads. Duke 200 is manufactured at Bajaj plant in Chakan. If we look at the technical specifications, KTM Duke 200 cc comes with single cylinder engine, and this bike is fitted with liquid cooled engine with 4 valved and DOHC. KTM Duke engine is capable of producing 22 bhp power, and a torque of 19.2 Nm. KTM Duke 200 is specially designed for Asian market. The Austrian company has already proven its expertise in more than 50 nations and its second most-preferred bike off-road segment in the European market. KTM Duke 200 price stands at Rs. 1.17 lakhs [ex- showroom, New Delhi]. If given a choice between these two bikes on Indian road conditions Bajaj Pulsar 200NS would win the race as this company has been producing bikes for many that are suited for Indian driving conditions, and KTM though it’s a successful brand around the world it is relatively new to Indian road conditions. I recently shared that Audi realizes its long standing dream of acquiring Ducati and Honda CBR 250R all specifications.
